Family First

From the infant to the young adult, family is the key to that rich, personal growth which fosters a happy and thriving childhood.

This leads to a purpose-centered adulthood wherein one is prepared with the skills needed for work and career and the habits and values leading to heart-centered contribution in personal relationships, in community endeavors, and in the direction of one's nation.

Parental Tasks

Parents protect and guide, respond to each child's developmental needs and capabilities, select the resources available in the community for their children's health and well-being, their education and the support of their individual interests and talents. Parents by their very being and their sharing help youth to understand life's ultimate purpose, the spiritual significance of their lives, how to know and call upon a Higher Power and their need to create moral habits for their self-direction and their relationships.

Family and Parent Challenges

While all of the above presents an IDEAL, we recognize that you as a parent handle many CHALLENGES to a smooth path forward.

These may include -- raising children on your own; providing for sons and daughters with handicaps; working parents' need for dependable childcare; losing your job; rising inflation; food and other shortages; and handling difficult behavior.

There's the availability of drugs in the neighborhood; disagreement with the appropriateness or correctness of what is being taught in some school systems; concern that children are not learning fundamental skills and -

your own personal needs - to name just a few.

While we do not have all the answers, we will walk that path with you by presenting, through our Family Strengths, our Schooling Options and our Library (see tabs above) information that can lead you to helpful resources.
